Canterbury Tales Work

Track the storyline for any two of our stories.
You may use any format you like.

  • Ordinary world (characters and setting)
  • Disruption (catalyst?)
  • Conflicts (rising action)
  • Climax
  • Outcomes

Characters

Choose a main character from each of your two stories. (check your choices with me)
List their character traits with examples for each.
Create a chart or short video explaining what kind of character they are, with your examples.

Genre
(we have some new ones, yes?)

Make a list of key examples for each story showing what genre it is.
Write a good paragraph on each story explaining its genre.

Presentations

In a group, present an important part of one of the stories.
Check with me as to your choice and format.
It must be a turning point or climax. Then as a group, discuss why the part you chose was important and why you portrayed it as you did.

approximately 1 page per group member
